Campsite showing tents and family which used to be a farm

New Camping Site , North Norfolk

My client was keen to diversify his farm and use this otherwise unutilised piece of land just outside a seaside village.

A planning application was put together to show the demand for seasonal accommodation in the area and the benefits it would bring to the local shops, pubs and attractions.

The application included a planning statement detailing all the policies that supported the diversification of agricultural businesses and the financial benefits that the campsite would bring to the local area. Surveys included ecology and highways surveys and additional trees were proposed to be planted on the site to protect light spilling into a nearby AONB.

Planning permission was not granted in this instance, however the campsite is now up and running under the 56 day permitted development rule.
