Extension to a riverside cottage

A 2 bedroom traditional Norfolk Cottage, with river frontage, that our Client wished to extend. As this project was on the river, both the Broads Authority and Broadland planning departments were involved; which complicated the planning process. In the end we were able to achieve exactly what the client wanted, by adding a further 2 bedrooms/ensuite and a large open plan kitchen/dining area, with a large amount of glazing to the rear to give extensive views over the River Bure.
